 * 5% is a (fairly) high rate of return. Inflation, as measured by the Retail Price Index is currently less than 5%. You may change the rate of inflation and the rate of return to tailor these to your view of the rates over the number of years you select. We suggest rates between 3% and 5%. Similarly the £1m is our default wealth target, do change to whatever final target you select.
