David Wheeler

David trained and qualified in Tunbridge Wells, then went on to become Group Financial Director for one of the practice’s larger clients. He then returned to public practice with Bourner Bullock in May 2006, becoming Partner in June 2008 and then Managing Partner in June 2021. Having worked in both practice and industry David appreciates the commercial aspects of business and the importance that accountants play in helping business owners. David specialises in audit, in particular with focus on subsidiaries of overseas groups and heads up the firm’s marketing and is also HR Partner.

Having spent 11 years with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte) in London, David joined Bourner Bullock as a Partner in 1994. David’s expertise is in audit, corporate finance and business consulting. He also advises professional firms on their systems. David also advises professional firms, international clients, as well as a number of owner managed businesses.

Viraj Mehta

Tax Partner

Viraj has gained experience with KPMG (South Africa) and Grant Thornton (UK) where he has been involved in cross-border structuring and UK compliance, as well as working for London based practices in both audit and tax. He has experience in advising listed corporates to family run businesses across varying business sectors. He and his team assist with UK personal and corporate tax advice and compliance for domestic and international clients. Viraj also has an interest in providing tax advice on corporate reorganisations and undertakes tax due diligence and tax valuation work and is involved with the JPA International Network.

Russell Joseph

Russell joined Bourner Bullock in 2009 as a graduate trainee and became a partner in June 2017. Russell has experience working with and advising clients across a wide range of sectors including international businesses, professional practices and has a particular interest in working with charities. Russell also has experience in trust accounting and works regularly in Geneva.

Hannah Fowlie

Hannah joined Bourner Bullock in 2008 and having qualified with the firm she became Partner in June 2022. Hannah specialises in audit, working with clients in a variety of sectors, both corporate and charities, many of which have an international element. Hannah is also a Chartered Governance Professional, and oversees the company secretarial work for the firm.
